Privacy Policy — Truvill eBay Listing Automation

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This policy describes how Truvill eBay Listing Automation, an internal tool used by the operator of truvillresources.com, handles information obtained through authorized eBay APIs. It applies to this application; it does not replace any separate privacy policy for visitors to our website.

Information and purposes

With the seller’s authorization, the application accesses the eBay account identifiers, store categories, listing information, inventory, selling policies, images, and advertising settings needed to prepare and manage that seller’s listings. It uses these data to match product information, upload images, verify and manage listings, and apply the advertising settings requested by the seller.

The application also handles application credentials, OAuth access and refresh tokens when configured, and eBay marketplace account deletion notifications. The application does not request or store the seller’s eBay password. This listing workflow does not request buyer orders, buyer contact details, payment account details, or financial reports.

Storage and access

Information is processed in the operator’s local listing workspace and, where needed for authentication and notifications, on the operator’s WordPress hosting service. Access to credentials and private notification records is restricted. The WordPress notification component encrypts stored application credentials and notification contents. Authorized administrators and hosting providers may have access necessary to operate and maintain the service.

Information is sent to eBay as needed to perform the authorized operations. We do not sell eBay account information or use it for unrelated marketing. Local workspace security, hosting security, and backup controls are maintained by the operator.

Retention, revocation, and deletion

Information is retained only as needed to operate the authorized listing workflow and maintain necessary records. The seller may revoke application access through eBay’s account settings. Revoking access stops future authorized API operations but does not itself remove previously retained records.

The operator is responsible for processing verified eBay account deletion notifications and deleting associated eBay user data, including applicable retained copies, except where retention is necessary to meet a specific legal requirement. Receipt of a notification is recorded separately from completion of deletion. Any unresolved deletion request requires the operator’s attention.

Contact and changes

To request information about this application or deletion of retained account information, contact the operator through the Contact section of https://truvillresources.com/. This policy will be updated when the application’s data handling changes.
