Some engines are only cleaned and painted. Some are repaired only where a fault is visible. Truvill’s highest-standard remanufactured engine option is built around full disassembly, mandatory replacement of core wear parts with new original and OEM-supplier parts*, precision inspection of retained components, controlled assembly and final test documentation.

Cosmetic refresh

Core intake and identification
Record engine model, serial number, CPL, application, visible damage, missing components and requested configuration.
Complete disassembly
The engine is stripped to major components so hidden wear, contamination and previous repair issues can be inspected.
Cleaning and inspection
Blocks, heads, crankshafts, connecting rods, camshafts and related components are cleaned, checked and measured.
Mandatory parts replacement
Pistons, piston rings, piston pins, engine bearings, bushings, all seals and gaskets, non-metal parts and high-strength critical fasteners are scrapped and replaced with new original and OEM-supplier parts*.
Precision inspection and restoration
Heavy castings and high-value components are retained only after magnetic particle or ultrasonic crack detection, dimensional checks and tolerance verification; parts outside specification are replaced.
Controlled assembly
Assembly follows torque, clearance, lubrication and sealing checks, with staged inspection before final closure.
Fuel, turbo and ECM checks
Injectors, high-pressure fuel pumps, turbochargers, electronic wiring harnesses and ECMs are dismantled, cleaned, measured, tested, repaired or replaced when they cannot return to the required technical specification.
Bench or dyno testing
Run-in and load testing verifies oil pressure, coolant temperature, leakage, abnormal noise, fault codes and operating stability.
Report and shipment release
Final documents, photos, video records and packing inspection are reviewed before the engine is released for delivery.

Is a remanufactured engine the same as a used engine?
No. A used engine is usually sold based on existing condition. A remanufactured engine is disassembled, inspected, rebuilt with mandatory replacement of core wear parts and tested before shipment.
Can you provide the test report before shipment?
Yes. For remanufactured engine orders, final testing documentation, photos or video records can be provided before shipment release. The exact report format should be confirmed for each order.
What information is needed for quotation?
Please send engine model, ESN, CPL, application, horsepower or rating requirement, photos of the nameplate, destination country or port, and any required configuration.
What is the warranty?
Warranty terms are confirmed per quotation. Installation requirements, covered components and claim documents will be specified with the final engine offer.
